Grants for the production of new dramas
In order to encourage the Drama art forms and the artistes involved in such arts, the manram extends grants to drama troupes for the production and staging of new Historical, Mythological, Social in tamil plays highlighting culture, literature and bravery of tamilians. So far, 102 Dramas have been produced and staged under this scheme.
Grants for the production of new Dance-Dramas
In order to encourage the Dance-Drama art forms and the artistes involved in such arts, the manram extends grants for the production and staging of new Tamil Dance-Dramas based on Tamil Arts, Literature and Culture. So far, 35 Dance-Dramas have been produced and staged by availing this grant
Inter-State Cultural Exchange Programme
With a view to promote national integration through various cultures and art forms and to enable the people of other states to know about the arts and cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu, a scheme known as Inter-State Cultural Exchange Programme is being implemented by the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram.
Conduct of cultural programmes abroad
With a view to disseminate our Tamil Culture and Arts abroad and to enable the Tamil Diaspora to continuously experience art and culture, traditional cultural programmes are being conducted abroad through the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram. So far, cultural troupes were sent to Oman, Malaysia, Australia and France through the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram.
Encouragement of talented young artistes
The Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram extends grants in the range of Rs.5,000/- to Rs.10,000/- with a view to encourage and provide opportunities to the budding artistes by training them and thereby identifying talented youth in the field of Vocal Music, Bharathanatyam, Instrumental Music for staging cultural programmes through Voluntary Cultural Organizations, So far, 1993 young artistes were benefitted under this scheme.
Grants to folk artistes / troupes for purchase of Musical Instruments and Costumes
The Manram extends grants to folk artistes and troupes for Costumes and Musical Instruments. Under this scheme, a sum of Rs.2,000/- is provided to individual folk artistes, a sum of Rs.6,000/- is provided for cultural troupes as grant for the purchase of Musical Instruments and Costumes. So far, 1585 folk artistes and 307 folk troupes were benefited under this scheme.

Family Maintenance Grant to the families of Deceased famous artistes |

The Manram organizes various cultural programmes to make the younger generation appreciate the values of art forms and to give programme opportunities to the folk artistes.

The one time family maintenance grant given to the families of deceased famous artistes is increased from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.25,000/-. So far, 496 bereaved families of the deceased artistes were given financial assistance.

Under this scheme, Financial assistance has been sanctioned to publish books on rare arts. Under this scheme, 119 books have been published so far.

The Manram is providing Train / Government Bus travel concession to drama artistes / art groups conducting their programmes in places where train and bus travel is required

Financial assistance to Indigent artistes
Indigent artistes who have rendered services in the field of Art and Culture during their life time is sanctioned with Rs.3,000/- per month as financial assistance.
